It's Those Saltertons Again!

Salterton Drama Club’s forthcoming celebration of the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War Two opens at the Salterton Playhouse next Monday (November 23) - and director Richard Gomm reports that things are going well.

As rehearsals for Salterton Drama Club’s forthcoming revue to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two continue, club members have been working on sketches and songs of the period.

Journey’s End by R C Sherriff was written ten years after the World War One ended and is a high quality play about life in the trenches. It is full of drama and profound comment about war and about people. It was the choice of the Shute Theatre and Arts Guild for their latest production, write Nigel Freathy.
