North Devon group stages charity panto Jack and the Beanstalk at Northam.
GIANT-TAMING, beanstalk-bending plus much music and merriment can only mean it is time for another Bright Stars Theatre Group pantomime.
The show is of course Jack and the Beanstalk, which will be taking to the stage at Northam Methodist Hall over the next two weekends.
The Bright Stars’ long-running tradition of the annual charity panto returns for 2013 this Friday and Saturday, with shows at 7pm on both nights plus a 2.30pm Saturday matinee.
Jack and the Beanstalk returns on Friday, January 25 and Saturday 26 for another three performances at the same times.
Proceeds from the 2013 show will go to the Barnstaple-based Headway charity, which works with people who have suffered brain injuries. In 2012 the Bright Stars donated £7000 to Appledore RNLI.
Show tickets cost £5 for adults, £4 for senior citizens and £3 for children. Tickets are available on the door but it is advisable to book by calling 01237 408226.
