The Breathe Easy Group, which is the support network of the British Lung Foundation, will be hosting a talk about the Dog Trust.
The meeting is due to be held in Dunkeswell Village Hall between 2pm and 4pm, on Wednesday, July 25.
It will feature a spokesman for the trust, with a four-legged friend and all dog lovers are welcome.
The British Lung Foundation provides advice, information and time for a cup of tea and a chat and the Breathe Easy Group meetings are open to patients, carers, family and friends.
Anyone affected by a lung condition whatever their illness is welcome to attend.
A spokesman said: “The group is run by volunteers and you are assured of a warm welcome.
“Refreshments are available, guest speakers, sometimes medical or just general interest speakers.
“There is always time to chat a make new friends. We meet on the last Wednesday of the month in the village hall, Dunkeswell between 2pm and 4 pm.”
On Wednesday, August 29, Dr Robin Carr will be joining the group to answer health questions.
