Archant

Plenty of laughs with new show from The Plough Youth Theatre Juniors in Torrington.

EXPAND horizons and split sides at the same time with A Complete History of The World (abridged) being performed by The Plough Youth Theatre Juniors in Torrington next week.

Join Old Father Time and Bruce Fortuna in this whirlwind tour of the history of the world – without the boring bits. Written by Michael Conyers, the show will explain why Babylonians feared falling elephants; why Pythagoras should have been a cabaret singer and how Captain Cook discovered the Isle of Wight...

“Everyone has been having so much fun working on ‘History...’ and it’s been great to see so many new members joining throughout the term too,” said PYT director Sarah Middleton.

With fantastic songs, a great cast, and gags cheesier than a Christmas Camembert, this show is guaranteed to be an education as well as an entertainment.

A Complete History of The World (abridged) is being performed at The Plough Arts Centre on Wednesday and Thursday, January 23/24 at 7.30pm. For tickets call the box office on 01805 624624.
