Withycombe RFC the Boxing Day game

The annual Withycombe RFC fixture took place on Boxing Day.

Despite the recent rains the match went ahead between the Presidents’ XV and the Withy 1st team.

There was plenty of action to thrill a large turn-out, but the final score was in some doubt owing to the conditions and the fact that, come full time, not many of the kits were recognisable!

It was however, great fun for all concerned!

Post match festivities continued in the Withy bar.
