Annual Bideford v Barnstaple rugby match will now be held at Barnstaple.

THIS year’s Boxing Day rugby derby between Barnstaple and Bideford has switched grounds due to heavy rainfall.

The traditional match will now be played at Pottington Road, Barnstaple, due to unplayable conditions at King George’s Field in Bideford.

The match annual match is normally held at alternate grounds each year.

Kick-off on Wednesday is at 2.30pm.
