The Sidmouth Herald will have a stand at the events village at Exmouth Rugby Club’s Imperial Ground offering a goodie bag for sale at £1 (80p to Prostate Cancer) with a raffle, lots of prizes, top prize is chance to win a bike worth up to £250 from Halfords, Exmouth

There are plenty of local cyclists taking on the ride, many tackling the 100k distance for the first time - their route turns off at Sidford, going through Sidbury to Honiton. If you see them take time to cheer them on as they pass.

Taking its name from the Jurassic coastline it embraces, The Wiggle Jurassic Classic will see around 1,000 cyclists pass through some of Devon’s most picturesque coastline. At Aylesbeare and Gittisham there are feed stations and technical support is available throughout.

At the events village in Exmouth there are activities from bike displays, bouncy castles and climbing walls to live music from local musicians and sports massage therapy. It is still possible to register for the cycle ride this weekend in the registration tent at the club, with registrations between 2pm and 6pm on Saturday, July 7, and from 6am on Sunday, July 8. To sign up, visit: www.jurassic-classic.org.uk and for more information contact the cycling team by calling 020 8222 7158 or emailing cycling@prostatecanceruk.org.

Both routes cost £28 to take part in (and to register on the day £30), with the 100 mile route starting from 7am and 100km from 8am.
