Sidmouth 1, Newton Abbot 1

On a heavy pitch Sidmouth were denied victory by a late equaliser from the visitors.

There was plenty of industry from the side, particularity from Ben Miller, Alistair Forsyth and Jonny Dunn, but the deadlock could not be broken in a first half that saw the visitors not create a single chance of note.

After the break there was more of the same with opening goal coming thanks to a fine run and finish by Jack DeWinton.

Jamie Newbery then headed just over from a corner.

As the half wore on Sidmouth began to defend deeper and deeper and paid the price for not finishing the visitors off when they popped in the equaliser with just five minutes to play.
