Exmouth RFC have made their first signing of the 15-16 season with utility back and England Under 18’s trialist Dan Powell arriving from Sidmouth and Exeter College.

Topsham RFC ladies team, were 29-22 winners when they took to the pitch to face North Tawton ladies in what was their final outing of the season.

Exeter College Rugby achieved the ‘treble’ in AoC British Colleges Rugby terms by winning the AoC British Colleges Elite Cup against Llandrillo College at Stourbridge.

Honiton captain Harry Wright with the losers shield after the Lacemen lost 22-0 to Barnstaple in the Devon Colts Cup final at Sandy Park. It was Honiton's  first appearance in the final since 1985 when, coincidentally, they also lost to Barnstaple.

Honiton went down 20-0 in the Devon Colts Cup final, but won plenty of admirers for the way they played in what was an entertaining game.

Sidmouth Under-16s

Sidmouth Under-16s brought the curtain down on their season, and indeed their time in youth rugby, with a 22-10 home defeat at the hands of Kingsbridge.

Exmouth suffered play-off despair as they went down to visiting Barnes 27-22 in a match that swung both ways during a compelling first 80 minutes and then extra-time.
