East Budleigh Res 0, Feniton Res 2
Two second half goals from the visitors was enough to give Feniton victory in this Easter Saturday fixture, writes Mark Auton.
In what was a scrappy first period the best Budleigh effort came on the half hour; Spencer West setting up Steve Davey who fired wide.
A minute after the break Budleigh were caught napping as Feniton scored and but for the legs of keeper Mark Bown would have been two ahead.
Debutant Jack Howarth joined the action to add pace to the Budleigh attack and he almost scored when put through by Davey.
Another good exchange between Howarth and Ryan Britton saw the latter go close, whilst Simon Pearce saw his shot marginally clear the bar.
The away side missed a good opportunity to make it two, but did get a second when a cross-cum-shot looped over Bown and into the far corner. For Budleigh Adam Jones and Davey worked hard.
This Saturday, Budleigh travel to Bow for their latest Fresha League Division Six game.
