local man, Mark Guest used to play five-a-side football at Honiton Leisure Centre in the ‘90s and early 2000s and has been given the shield that has been on display there as he won the Sunday night league on six different occasions with two different teams; 1996-1997 Wrong Rabbit (footballing friends) and 1999-2002 Reunion ’75 (old Honiton school friends).

Guest said: “There are lots of reasons not to go out for an hour on a Sunday night but 5-a-side isn’t one of them! I found the Sunday 5-a-side set me up for the Monday morning back to work.”

If you’d like to join a new Sunday night 5-a-side league (both teams and individuals welcome), email info@ledleisure.co.uk or call the centre on 01404 42325.
