Max Reader and Ed Hurley both had to retire having scored 30 and 31 respectively for Exmouth as they closed on 109-4.

It was 10-year-old Luke Davis who then took centre stage as he claimed four wickets for just ten runs in four overs of excellent medium pace.

Young Davis got support from Richard Hall (2-10), Morgan Wright (1-4) and Tom Taylor (1-14) as Clyst Hydon were bowled out for 64.

Ed Hurley kept wicket very well with one smart stumping and a catch and Morgan Wright also held a fine catch.

However, young Davies was the undoubted star, three of his wickets were clean bowled with the fourth that smart stumping by Hurley.
