After the Police S C A wrestled the Exmouth Snooker League title from the Number Nine B, the role was reversed in the League Cup final.
This competition is played over two legs with aggregate frame scores to count and the Number Nine B won by 18 points after the ten frames played.
In the first leg Mike Page secured a massive win over Carl Rowsell 129-19 before two wins for Mick Jordan, Mark Rock 107(27)-79 and David Binmore 82-38 of the Police A restored the balance somewhat.
John Sharland scored 41 points in the final frame to take the cup back to the Number Nine Club.
Three teams were in contention for runners-up in the League before the two outstanding matches were played.
Otterton A beat the Number Nine B with Graham Dabrowiecki 72-27, Morley Martin 58-51 and Clive Parnell 60-56, but, with one player absent, they failed by a point to force a play off.
East Budleigh C then clinched second place as Trevor Hayman 50-17, Leo Dolling 71-49 and Rob Marsden 54-45 were 3-2 winners over the Number Nine A.
