Budleigh Salterton Reserves were placed second in the Fresha League Premier Division’s ‘Most Sporting Team’ charts for last season.
What’s more, both Topsham Town and east Budleigh were highly placed.
The Robins finished with a mark of 82.9, second only to that of 87.23 that the University picked up to land the Bill Rees Sportsmanship Shield.
Clyst Valley, winners in each of the past two years, came third with a score of 81.9.
In fourth place were Seaton Town (81.52).
The other placings were, fifth Topsham Town (81.07), sixth, Alphington (80.93), seventh, East Budleigh (80.53) and eighth were Thorverton (80.35).
Completing the top ten were Morchard Bishop (79.83) and Beer Albion (79.65).
Barnstaple Town were 11th (79.5) and they finished above Newtown (79.33), St Martin’s (78.00), Heavitree Social United (75.95), Hatherleigh Town (73.87) with the bottom placed side Willand Rovers (70.47).
