Four days after booking an Under-13 Plate Final berth at St. James’ Park, Exeter, Brixington Blues Under-13s took a giant step towards landing the Division Two league title with a much deserved success.

After an own goal put them ahead, Charlie Heaton doubled the Blues lead from close range and then Rian Hill struck.

Max Howard made it four before the Heavies got one back.

Blues boss Steve Gibbings said: “Once again we played very well as a team, and right now none of the boys seem to be doing anything wrong. The season is coming to an exciting conclusion for us. We are close to something special, but most now keep our feet firmly on the floor!”
