Kingsley gymnasts shine in London festival

KINGSLEY School gymnasts performed well at the London Festival of Gymnastics among teams from all over the country.
They were selected to perform at the gala evening and their routine to 80s classics was a huge success.

After a long bus journey they arrived with only minutes to spare and had to run straight in to the warm-up room. But the girls were not phased and pulled out an amazing routine.
The team consisted of school gymnasts and staff, former and present, dancing and tumbling to 'I am the One and Only,' 'I'm So Excited,' and 'Footloose.'
Next weekend the team have their first school competition at Wycombe Abbey, where their new routines will be analysed ready for the main season after Christmas.
Team members were: Coral Southam, Kathryn Parkyn, Rebecca Straker, Millie Taylor-Richards, Anna Charles, Lauren East, Grace Woolway, Lauren Parsons, Christina Brend, Jasmine Boyd, Sophie Johns, Saskia Woollam-Rees, Daisy Scott, Brooke Timmins, Sophie Percival, Katrina Venner and Gemma Braunton.
