HALL PLAN AGREED: Plans to improve Woodbury Village Hall have been approved by East Devon District Council.

The plan is for a new lobby, extended meeting room, and new storage facilities to be built.

FUEL LEAK: Fire crews in Exmouth were called to reports of a vehicle leaking fuel on the petrol station forecourt at Tesco in Salterton Road.

Crews confirmed about 15 litres of diesel had leaked on to the forecourt, and used an environmental pack to help mop up the fuel.

HOB FIRE: Firefighters from Exmouth were called to a home in Withycombe Raleigh on Sunday evening after receiving a report of a hob on fire.

When the crews arrived at the Vale Road home shortly after 6pm, they found a small fire involving a plastic kettle on a cooker, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said a fire blanket was used to put out the flames.
