Two in custody after incident in Bideford

Police appeal for information after incident between two families in Bideford last night.

BIDEFORD police are appealing for information after an incident between two families occurred in Moreton Park Road last night (Weds).

Two people were arrested for public disorder offences, and are currently in custody.

PC Mick Kearney, neighbourhood beat manager for Bideford East, said neither had yet been charged.

Officers have been investigating the incident, which included making enquiries in East-the-Water last night.

Anyone who has any information or was in Moreton Park Road around 9.15pm yesterday is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting reference CD/12/116.

Alternatively they can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
