A rare opportunity to travel for free on vintage buses around Exmouth takes place on Sunday, April 29.

The Devon General Society, through Stagecoach, is running the free services from Exmouth bus station from 10am until 4.30pm, to Woodbury, the World of Country Life at Littleham, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth seafront and town.

Passengers will be issued traditional hand-wound Set -right tickets from an authentic machine.

Passengers are invited to ride all day.

The day’s buses include AEC double-deckers from the 1950s and 1960s, a Leyland lowbridge Titan and an Atlantean open-topper of the famous ‘Seadog’ class.

Passengers can also hop onto single-deckers, such as a 1946 AEC, one of the first flat-floor Volvos of the 1990s and Ford Transits.
