East Devon Art Academy stages exhibition of pupils’ work

TALENTED young artists from Sidbury Primary School displayed their work in Sidmouth on Saturday.

Pupils from Year 5NS and the talented artists group at the school, set up their pictures, thanks to Cathy Osbourne, in the gallery at East Devon Art Academy studios, Old Fore Street, to show the community their achievements.

Some children from the class acted as guides, explaining to interested visitors the inspiration behind their work.

After looking at the work of Vincent Van Gogh, in particular Starry Night, pupils went to sketch The Byes and returned to the classroom to complete their Starry Sidmouth pictures in oil pastels.
