Axminster’s Flamingo team are in the pink after another successful coffee morning and sale

Everything went swimmingly when supporters of Axminster’s Flamingo Pool held another of their popular fund raising coffee mornings yesterday (Thursday).

A steady stream of visitors went along to the church rooms to enjoy a refreshing cuppa and pick up some bargains from the stalls, selling a range of goods, including colourful Flamingo hats and T shirts.

Organiser Shirley Parris said it was one of two such events they hold each year to help boost the pool’s finances.
