SIR – North Devon, please say ‘yes’ and let us have 20 years of Damien Hirst’s wonderful bronze pregnant lady.

If Ilfracombe doesn’t want her, perhaps Barnstaple will consider? I love our roundabout stones but this lady is something else.

She’s magnificent, bold and above all truth. After all, beauty is truth, truth is beauty – that’s all you need to know!
