The Devoncourt Hotel Christmas lights display were officially switched on by the Exmouth Mayor John Humphreys.

The Exmouth Mayor councillor John Humphreys performed the official switch-on of the Christmas lights at the Devoncourt Hotel on Friday evening. Crowds gathered for the popular annual event and at 7pm the switch was thrown and hundreds of colourful lights and dozens of illuminated figures lit up the spacious grounds of the Douglas Avenue hotel.Visitors were also treated to some musical entertainment with songs sung by members of Centre Stage which were then followed by the Boys Brigade Handbell Ringers who played some Christmas tunes. Many of the visitors took the time to walk around the delightful gardens to get a closer look at the display.
