MEMBERS WANTED: Exmouth Writers’ Circle is looking for new members.

The group is for those who write, would like to write, or enjoy the writing of others.

It meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 2pm, with its next meeting to be held at the Salvation Army Hall.

The cost for the first meeting is 50p.

HEALTH COURSE: People living with long-term health conditions are being given the chance to attend a self management course.

The courses are being held by NHS Devon, and are designed to help improve the quality of life of people with conditions such as diabetes, asthma, MS, arthritis, and heart conditions.

TREEHOUSE PLACES: Exmouth’s Treehouse Pre-school has announced it has places available for this autumn.

The pre-school, which is in the grounds of Exeter Road School, is now taking two- and-a-half-year-olds, and Government funding is available for three and four year olds for up to 15 hours a week.

The pre-school opens Monday to Friday, 9am to 3.15pm during term time, with an early 8.45am drop off available.

MINI-GLEE: A ‘Mini-Glee Club’ has been set up for Exmouth children aged between four and seven.

It takes place at Christ Church Hall on Wednesdays between 5pm and 5.45pm, and features singing, dancing and acting.

The cost is £3 per class, and the first class is free.
