An Exmouth social group celebrated St George’s Day with a fun-filled day of live music and food.
Exmouth’s FriendsUK social group marked St George’s Day with a host of fun and entertainment at Courtlands House, Lympstone.
Jazz band Just Misbehavin’, featuring Lynn Thornton on vocals, kept the crowd entertained throughout the jazz and barbecue afternoon.
The RNLI raised £105 by setting up its mobile shop at the event.
FriendsUK organiser David Gray said the event had been “well attended” by members, adding: “Jackie and her team at Courtlands House compensated for the inclement English weather with a roaring log fire, barbecue food and Devonshire cream teas.”
The group’s next event is a coach trip to St Mawes, Cornwall, on Saturday, May 19.
