Straight talking has been credited as the secret of a successful 50 years of marriage by the still smitten couple.

Nat,74, said: “We have always been straight with each other. Perhaps that’s our success. We don’t hold anything back. If you are going to say anything, say it.”

The duo, who now live in Exmouth, ran Sue’s Pantry in Sidmouth for four years.
