Elderly woman freed from lift

Fire crews from Axminster and Colyton called to residential home

Fire fighters were called to free an elderly woman trapped in a lift at a residential home in Axminster this morning (Thursday).

Crews from Axminster and Colyton attended the incident at the home in Chard Street, at around 6.30am

The woman was safely released from the elevator.
