Army cadets from Exmouth are celebrating taking the top spot for the fifth year running at the Devon Army Cadets annual athletics competition.

Army cadets from Exmouth are celebrating taking the top spot for the fifth year running at the Devon Army Cadets annual athletics competition.

Cadets from A Company, represented by the eight detachments in their area with Cadets from Budleigh Salterton - now based in Exmouth – Sidmouth, Honiton, Crediton, Tiverton, Uffculme, Cullompton and Wyvern, in Exeter.

The company, which won all but one of the classes, is gearing up for its members to next month represent Devon Army Cadets in the South West regional competition.

A spokesperson for the group said the company was ‘proud’ of the cadets’ ‘tremendous’ efforts.
