Appledore home for deaf youngsters changes hands

A care home for deaf people called Appledore Farmhouse is under new ownership after Signpost Children’s Services was acquired by The Cambian Group.

The home provides a specialised environment to support deaf young adults with additional needs such as learning disabilities, autism, mental health or behavioural issues.

The company said the new Cambian Signpost would continue to provide highly specialist care at its newly acquired homes in the South West.
