Whether you are a local or a visitor, you can be sure of the best advice at East
Devon's Tourist Information Centres (TICs). TICs are run by friendly, experienced
staff who know the local area really well and often have extra knowledge you won't
find in guide books. The centres don't just provide information, they also offer
a wide range of service, and are able to help you with:
• Where to
stay; all TICs can book accommodation ;
• Places to visit throughout the
whole area;
• What’s on; they all maintain a diary of local events;

Where to eat and drink;
Most TICs can offer:
• Information
on holidays throughout Britain.
• Sale of tickets for local events or
for local and even London theatres.
• Public transport information, timetables
and maps.
