A photo from the 1935 Silver Jubilee celebrations taken on the Arch in Woodbury. The military squad is being kept a good eye on by the local ‘bobby’, and just look at the public address van behind which probably belonged to the local radio firm of Fildews. All a bit basic by modern standards, but state of the art at the time! |
