This photograph of the Woodbury Young Farmers Club was taken sometime in the mid 1950s in the village hall.

Several of the number can still be counted in the area, but alas many are no longer with us. I have said previously that the training given by the YFC movement was always considered to stand its members in good stead in their future life.

This picture contains the current owner of Woodbury Park Golf and Country Club (back row centre), a well known local East Devon District councillor (front row left), several past chairmen of Woodbury Parish council and someone who could now supply you with a hog roast if you want one (back row second from right). Oh! and of course me, for what that’s worth!
