I do believe the CEOs are patrolling on their own now.

I saw one today (Sunday) walking along the esplanade at Sidmouth - then along the beach round to Jacobs Ladder, returning about 10 minutes later to walk back along the esplanade.

Funny thing though - there are no cars or parking restrictions along the beach or at Jacobs Ladder!!

They (CEOs) have certainly been about in Sidmouth during the past few days - it looks as though they can't move 15 feet down the High Street without having to issue a ticket. I wonder how long it will take before motorists learn their lesson?

Keep it up lads and lasses. Big Smile [:D]

Just seen a car parked adjacent to the full disabled bays at Clifton end of the esplanade - blocking the ramp access up onto the prom. A CEO driving past in their white van stopped and moved them on. That wouldn't have happened when the police were responsible for parking.

I really now think that the CEOs have settled in very well and are doing an excellent job.

Big Smile [:D]

never mind "white van man" ANYONE can park outside the tesco hole-in-the-wall as long as they've got 2 wheels on the pavement, and ANYONE with a fancy car can park likewise ANYWHERE in Sidmouth. Does the Council stop and think about the revenue they're missing out on?
