Operation Cruise will make more profit from motorists
Reading this story about a Blitz on Motorists I wonder if car owners actually knew that there is a company that is called Devon and Cornwall Constabularly Credit Union Ltd. So could it be that the following article is really highlighting that this is more easy profit for the company and not really much more than that?
I`ve noticed via the TPUC. website http://www.tpuc.org/ and various youtube videos that people have discovered that lawfully road tax is not required for private cars. Also on the website apparently Wirral council has admitted that Council Tax is unlawful. Incidentally councils are companies run for profit not as I always thought just something via government and income taxes. I`d be interested to know if anyone was aware of any of this. Thanks
Re: Operation Cruise will make more profit from motorists
What has the company you named got to do with car owners and Operation Cruise?
Credit Unions are organisations set up to make loans to members and it didn't take much research to show that this one was set up with the intention of providing financial assistance to members who happened to be police officers below a certain rank. It was not funded by the public purse. It appears to have been closed/converted in 1990. The mention of 'constabulary' is a clue as to its age.
And no. I am not nor ever have been a member.
Do you really think that road tax is not required for private cars?
