Hmm [^o)] UFO sighting 7/8/08 11pm

I was driving between junction 31 and junction 30 on the M5 last night (7/8/08) at approx 11pm when i saw a very strange light pattern in the sky above the motorway. It was a clear night and at first i thought it was being projected into the sky by a laser as it was a very large slightly oval formation of many circular lights all moving in a circular motion. However usually with a laser you can see the source light beam coming up from the ground and when i looked i could not see one anywhere. This oval mass of lights continued to rotate in a swirling circular motion whilst moving across the sky in front of me, it swung right across the motorway to the otherside and then back again to my left. Finally it swung across the motorway to the right again and just seemed to fade and disappear?? I continued to look in my rear view mirror but could see nothing more, i wish i could have stopped whilst observing this whole thing but being on the motorway i was unable to. To me it looked like the lights on the underside of somesort of aircraft, but the shape of one i have never seen before. Did anyone else see this strange spectacle?

Omg, Only just read what you said, But on the 07-08-08 i was at work and seen what you just described! Apart from i seen this about 22.30pm because there were alot of buildings with lights on i just thought that was what i was seeing. I work in Lympstone. I seen it when i was locking everything up and by the time i'd finished it have disappeared!
