DT6, of Bridport, has called it a day after wooing crowds for years.
The float entry, which came from an area dominated by summer carnivals, was a beacon of light in an unilluminated part of the Westcountry.
DT6 appeared at Honiton and District Carnival last year, in recognition of a local sponsor.
Farewell, DT6 - you did West Dorset proud.
