THANKS TO FARMERS. For all carnival entries, there are unsung heroes. Farmers, across East Devon and South Somerset, have long been missed off the carnival honours lists. Without them, floats would be fewer in number. Only the few greats, with their own tractors, would ever hit the roads. If nobody else thinks to recognise farmers for their major contribution, I hope this tribute will go some way towards ensuring their support in future years. Carnival needs you!
